Mike Myers
July 27, 1945 - April 29, 2020
Mike Myers was the new Youth Minister at Littleton Church of Christ when the Roger and Avanelle Powell family moved to Littleton, Colorado, in August, 1973.
- Mike baptized David's then-girlfriend, Phyllis, on May 30, 1974, and later baptized Phyllis' sisters, Linda and Lora. And Mike was there to help when their daddy died on August 28, 1978.
- Mike was influential in helping David decide to attend college at Lubbock Christian University (Fall, 1974). That influence led to David's sisters, Lynne and Teresa, and Phyllis and her sisters also attending LCU.
- English paper written by Teresa during her Junior year at Columbine High School in 1977.
- Introducing Herman. Mike asked Herman van Dyck to give his testimony at the Powell home in June, 1977.

- Ava Powell service. Mike helped the Powell "kids" -- David, Lynne, Teresa, and Ruth -- one more time as they said goodbye to their Mom in January, 2018. He helped them select a funeral director and plan the service, he offered his office as a workspace to select pictures for the tribute video, he spoke at the service (beginning at 56:50) and at the graveside, and he and his gracious wife, Carol, took everyone to lunch the next day after church.
- Mike was youth minister, then pulpit minister, then pastoral care minister at Littleton Church of Christ for 47 years.
- Mike died of pneumonia and COVID-19 on April 29, 2020.
