Ava Powell employment

NAEP.  Ava worked for National Assessment of Educational Progress from 1973-1983.  Ava wrote this about her work there.

Accuracy has been the most important part of my job--whether I'm preparing tables from computer printout, preparing graphics for NAEP publications, doing the technical proofing of NAEP reports, or preparing the User's Guide and Abstracts for the public-use data tapes.  I enjoy doing any assignment because I look at it in the broader perspective as being a necessary part of the overall product. This makes even the most tedious task enjoyable.  I guess what I'm saying is that I enjoy most just being a part of the team!

AMG.  Ava worked for Asset Management Group from 1984-2001.  On one performance review, Ava wrote the following in the Employee Comments section.

This has been  an interesting year with all the changes from the HP3000, but with all of us working together, I think it has gone as smoothly as possible.
