Hi All - this is actually Lynne typing slowly but surely. We had the privilege of seeing the Christian group FFH (Far From Home) last night at Oak Hills Church of Christ, where Max Lucado is. What an awesome time of joy, praise and worship!! The glory was definitely God's - we just got to share in it, too. More than 100 gave their lives to Jesus. The song below was sung and is on their "I Want To Be Like You" CD, which of course I had to buy to add to my growing collection, thanks to many of you.
I'M ALRIGHT

Some say life is hard
Like swimming upstream
Or going against the grain
But I say life ain't that hard
Cause I've seen how
The joy outweighs the pain

So you can sit and whine
About the time you've been having
Ok, but as for me, I choose to be
As happy as I can be

Chorus
Because I'm alright
Trouble may find me
But it's not gonna keep me down
Cause I'll hold on tight
To the Father who loves me
He likes having me around
Yeah, He loves me and He cares for me
And so I'll be alright
Today in PT I walked the whole length of the parallel bars with my therapist holding the belt at my waist, and my grip on the bars is getting better too. I also saw Dr. Barber, my spinal chord doctor, and he was pleased with my progress and said again that time is my friend - at least a year. Talk about a lesson on waiting, trusting, and hoping with God!

We met with our lawyer yesterday. I saw the pictures taken after the accident for the first time. I was overwhelmed. It is a miracle thst I was not hurt even worse than I was. God is soooo Good!!

Thanks to all for the prayers, cards, email, calls, and encouragement

Love and grace to all,
Lynne
